My new draught excluder

We live in a very old house and needs quite a few draught excluders. This is one of them, hand embroidered with wool on hessian. The lining is one of my old dresses and the filling is also old fabrics instead of the usual fillers. Does the job.

Hope you had a good Christmas

These photos were taken a week before Christmas – was a lot more messy by the d-day. It was a lovely time, all the excitement about Santa. Thankfully Santa delivered and we had a happy mini at home.

We are still enjoying a relaxed time, working intermittently. Very exciting time, with new designs for minor edition..
Life is good.

P.S. I kept thinking about our time in the hospital with a seriously ill child last Christmas. So remembered all the sick kids in hospital with their worried parents and said a little prayer for them.
